Tokyo's mizu shōbai (nightlife businesses - literally the "water trade") is Japan's vast nighttime entertainment economy. But it can be clique-ish, opaque, and intimidating to non-Japanese-speaking visitors.
What does an unforgettable Tokyo evening look like for you? A few possibilities:
- A hostess club staffed by working Adult Video (AV) stars. A laid-back evening where the conversation - about their lives, their work, the industry - is the product.
- High-end cabaret clubs. Want something a bit more on the ritzier side? We'll take you to one of Ginza's most prestigious hostess clubs.

- We propose an itinerary. Typically 4 to 8 hours, 3 to 5 stops, threaded together so the pacing actually works.
- We confirm the numbers. Cover charges, drink minimums, transit between stops, and the guide fee, all spelled out before anything is booked.
- The night of: meet your English-speaking, Japan-fluent guide, hand off the agenda, and enjoy. We translate, we navigate, we stay sober enough to keep you out of trouble.
Tokyo Nightlife Tours are strictly 18 and over. Tours run as a single evening on a date you choose; this is not a multi-day package. Available year-round, subject to your guide's availability.
